📌 Zoom: Recording Options

The article provides options for recording settings in Zoom. This includes settings found in Canvas and the Zoom application itself.
NAVIGATIONAL LINK
- After opening your course, the Zoom link should appear in the left-hand menu. Select the ZOOM link and scroll down the page to meeting options. There is an option to check box for "Record the meeting automatically" and to select the location. "In the cloud" is an option that will provide accessibility to your students. Which ever option you choose, SAVE your settings.
SETTINGS
If the "Record the meeting automatically" check box does not appear as option, it is possible you may need to change the settings in the Zoom application.
Open your Zoom application and select SETTINGS.
RECORDING
Under SETTINGS, select RECORDING. Look for a heading with the title, "Cloud Recording Storage" and select the MANAGE button. This will launch a browser window for your account settings.
ZOOM ACCOUNT
Select SETTINGS, then select RECORDING. Look for a title AUTOMATIC RECORDING. If this option is not activated, go ahead and activate it.
This should effect the options that are available on Canvas-Zoom page.
