• How to activate ArcGIS on Public computers for students.

🛠️ Instructions

This is the first thing you will see when you open ArcGIS Pro

Please click on Configure Licensing and then this window should open:

You will want to keep the license as named user license and select ArcGIS enterprise, and paste https://sruarcgissrv.salve.edu/salvearcgis/ into the URL box. 

A browser will open and ask for you to sign in using your Salve credentials. Once signed in , ArcGIS will reload and you now have access to ArcGIS. A license for your Salve account will be required, please reach out to the TSC or Heather Rockwell for more information

 

This is how you know you have full access to the program.
Then you may begin your ArcGIS project as normal. Please make sure to save to an external usb device as the machine is in a frozen state and will not save your current progress.
