STEP 1: NAVIGATION
Students can access the quizzes or tests in a number of ways. The Quizzes and Assignment links in the navigation menu is one of the easiest. The quiz title will usually indicate if the LockDown is required.
>>> If you have already installed the LockdownBrowser, simply close all applications and launch the application.
>>> If you have not installed the Browser, proceed with the instructions.
STEP 2: TAKE THE QUIZ
To access the link for the Respondus browser, click the link to initiate the quiz. Hint: the link doesn't start the quiz.
STEP 3: APPLICATION CHECK
The course homepage varies based-on the preferences of the professor. It may appear a syllabus, as imaged above, or modules which break the academic term up into weekly or daily sessions. What stays the same are the side columns.
STEP 4: DOWNLOAD
Click download for the latest version of LockDown Browser.
STEP 5: INSTALL
This window tells you to install the file you just downloaded. Launch the installation file and follow the instructions.
STEP 6: LAUNCHING LOCKDOWN BROWSER
After installation, find and click the link in your application list or desktop.
The window will prompt you close all other applications.
STEP 7: LOG INTO SALVE CANVAS
After installation, find and click the link in your application list or desktop.
