Connecting to ResNet with a macOS Device

📌 Purpose

• Guide for connecting an Apple macOS device to the SRU-ResNet-Students Wi-Fi network at Salve Regina University.

👥 Audience

• Students living in residence halls

🛠️ Instructions

1. Select the Wi-Fi icon at the top right of the screen near the clock.
2. Select SRU-ResNet-Students from the list of available networks.
3. When prompted, enter the password SalveRegina (case sensitive), then select Join.
4. Now enter your Salve username and password. Do not include @salve.edu — only enter the firstname.lastname portion.
5. Select the checkbox to consent to the Salve's  Network and Computer Use Policy, then select Sign In.
6. After receiving the message You are now connected to the Internet..., select Done.

💡 Troubleshooting & Tips

• Issue: Unable to find the SRU-ResNet-Students network — Restart the device or move closer to your assigned room’s Wi-Fi access point.
• If the issue persists, contact the Technology Services Center.
