🛠️ Teacher Station Operation


Overview:

To begin, Touch here to Startup AV System.
The media display options appear on the list on the left-hand side of the screen.
Not all systems will provide the same options. If there are specialized requirements beyond the available options, please contact the TSC. 

A. INPUT SELECT : Select the audio-visual source to be displayed on the screen or monitor.

B. POWER BUTTON : POWER DOWN the system.

C. VIDEO MUTE : Turns bright blue when on. This function blacks-out the display so the presenter can setup/change-out media for presentations. 

D. VOLUME : Controls the audio levels for the selected media. 
Tap the plus (+) button to increase sound and the minus (-) button to decrease sound.
Tap the loudspeaker symbol with an X to mute the sound.


Using the Teacher Station:
 

  1. Tap panel to start. “Touch here to Startup AV System”
  2. The Lectern PC should turn on with the AV System.
    *** If not, there is a push button on the bottom right corner of monitor. 
  3. Select an input source from the left-hand side of the panel.
  4. The monitor or projector will start and the screen will be lowered automatically.
    *** If the screen does not lower automatically, there is a manual switch located on the wall nearby. 
    *** If the projector or monitor does not start, there is a remote located in the drawer of the teacher station.
     

Input Options:
 

TO USE PC:

  1. On the touch screen, under the Input Select tap Lectern PC.  
  2. The PC maybe configured to power on automatically, however, if it does not, push the power button on the bottom-right corner of the monitor. ​​​​

TO USE LAPTOP:

  1. Locate and connect the HDMI cable to your computer. (An optional USB-C adapter should be securely attached.) 
  2. On the touch screen, under the Input Select tap Laptop.

TO USE DVD:

  1. Power on the Blu-Ray/DVD player which is located on a shelf inside the teaching lectern.
  2. On the touch screen, under the Input Select tap Blu-Ray.
  3. The DVD menu should appear on the monitor and/or screen.
  4. Load your disc media.
    *** The player should have essential control buttons or the player, but there also may be a remote in the drawer of the lectern.
    *** The player may also be connected to the touch screen controller, which will also allow you to operate the functions for the disc player from there. 

TO USE DOCUMENT CAMERA:

  1. Power on the Document Camera by pressing the green push button on the camera. (Refer to image below.) 
  2. On the touch screen, under the Input Select tap Document Camera.


 

TO USE AIRMEDIA:

AirMedia may require the installation of an application.

  1. On the touch screen, under the Input Select tap AirMedia
  2. Launch the AIRMEDIA APP on your device.
  3. Enter the address displayed on the screen.
  4. You will then be prompted to enter a code displayed on the screen.
