- The use of AI tools must comply with the University AI Usage Policy.

🛠️ Instructions
The following applications are approved for use with Institutional and Public data:
Microsoft Copilot 365 free, when logged into your Salve account:
- Who has access: All Salve Office365 Users
- Features: Document summarization, email drafting, and conversational AI. Tasks often require additional manual steps, such as uploading files for processing, or copy and pasting text. Interaction is solely by Copilot Chat.
Microsoft Copilot 365 Pro, when logged into your Salve account:
- Who has access: Users who have a Microsoft Copilot 365 Pro license. May require an additional purchase.
- Features: Integrates into Microsoft 365 applications like Outlook, Word, and Teams, allowing a smoother and more efficient work flow. Microsoft Teams includes meeting notes and action items. Outlook includes email draft replies, email summaries and meeting scheduling. Word includes document rewriting, formatting, and summarizing. Conversational AI includes access to Onedrive content you have access to.
- Copilot Pro now includes access to Claude (Opus). This is the only approved University access to utilize Claude.
Zoom AI:
- Who has access: All Salve Zoom Users
- Features: Features include meeting summaries as well as a question and answer bot available during your meeting.
💡 Tips
- If you do not know if it is safe to share data with an AI tool, do not share the data. Please reach out to your supervisor for guidance on if the data can be processed by an AI model.
