This article explains how to install and enable the Solver add-in in Microsoft Excel.

🛠️ Instructions
Open
Microsoft Excel
.
Click
File
in the top-left corner of the window.
Select
Get Add-ins
(or
Office Add-ins
).
In the
Office Add-ins
window, click inside the search bar located in the top-left corner.
Type
Solver
and press
Enter
.
Locate the
Solver
add-in in the search results (it should appear at the top).
Click
Add
next to the Solver add-in to install and enable it in Excel.
💡 Troubleshooting & Tips
Issue:
Solver doesn’t appear after adding it.
✅ Try restarting Excel, then check under
Data > Analysis group
to confirm it’s enabled.
