Softdocs eTrieve New Central Experience

  • This article covers the new Central Experience for Softdocs eTrieve launched January 2026.
  • Both student and staff experience should be similar.  Staff and faculty may have additional application features based on your role.

🛠️ Instructions

  1. View the following video tutorial to learn about the new Central Experience. 
  2. Log into the new Experience through the Campus Portal, or My Salve.  
  3. Your "Submissions" tab will be visible. Click on the "Forms" tab in the top left corner, to access forms that were previously displayed by default.
  4. Users who have used eTreive for an extended period of time may notice a significant number of "Drafts" displayed at the top.It is best to remove any drafts that you have no intention of finishing in order to improve performance.
    • Click "Drafts" to expand the option, then click on the "Edit" button. 
    • You may "Select All" or click or select individual documents. You can then click "Delete Selected" or you can click the trash can icon net to each document to remove documents.

💡 Troubleshooting & Tips

  • Some users may experience slowness. Softdocs, the vendor of eTreive, is aware of this known issue.  It may be related to excessive documents in your "Submissions" section, formerly known as your Inbox. Please complete processing these documents or remove drafts to see if performance improves.
