The tutorial provides a solution for many issues that frequently plague 3rd-party plug-ins for Canvas.

STEP 1: SETTINGS
Open the application and select SETTINGS ICON (three horizontal lines) located in the upper right-hand corner of the browser window. 

Then, select the SETTINGS link from the drop down menu.

STEP 2: PRIVACY & SECURITY
A. Select PRIVACY & SECURITY 
B. out of the three different options provided. There are three options provided.  asdfIn SETTINGS select PRIVACY. Uncheck the box for PREVENT CROSS-SITE TRACKING. Then, select MANAGE WEBSITE DATA. 
C. This option allows you to enter a specific website that is EXEMPT from cross-site activity. This will add a strong degree of certainty that the content and functionality of Canvas is not impeded in any way.

STEP 3: EXCEPTIONS
For example, to exempt activity from Salve's Canvas, enter the base address: https://salve.instructure.com/
