🛠️ Instructions
Log into
Canvas
Go to your Course
In the Course Navigation menu, please click on Assignments:
Click on the assignment you wish to download:
On the right hand of the screen, please select
Download Submissions
Canvas will then display a progress bar indicating the status of the download
1) Displays the progress bar
2) Displays the status and percentage
Once this process is complete, please select
Click here to download
You will now have a .zip file downloaded locally to your machine
💡 Tips
All submissions are downloaded into a zip file locally on your machine.
If a student has resubmitted their assignment, you will only have a copy of the most recent submission.
The following submission types are included in the download: file uploads, text entries, website URLs, and Google Doc submissions.
The following is NOT included submission types in the download: media recordings and any media files embedded in text entries.
Any large files may be compressed when downloaded.
Students who are concluded in a course are not included in the download file.
