Copilot Chat - Creating an Agent

📌 Purpose

• Provides the basic steps in creating a personal Copilot Agent

🛠️ Instructions

1. In Copilot Chat, on the left navigation, hover over the ">" beside "Agents" and select "New Agent"
2. Type in a detailed prompt. The more information and targeted details you provide, the better the agent will perform. If there are sources of information that you trust make sure to reference them or provide links to them.
3. Review your agent details. Use the "Preview" tab to test it and refine your agent if necessary. Once you have it built to your liking, hit the "Create" button at the top right.
4. Your agent is now ready to be used and is located in the left navigation "Agents" menu item.

ℹ️ Additional Tips

1. The more detailed the agent, the better.
2. You can "pin" the agent to make it eaiser to access directly from the left navigation.
3. You can share the agent with other people at the University. Note | Some advanced features in Copilot Premium may prevent a person with a normal license from using a shared premium agent.
