📌 Purpose
This service allows users to report phishing emails, spam messages, or suspicious email activity. Submitting these helps the Information Security team monitor threats and take preventative action across Salve systems.
🛠️ Service Description
- Service Name: Report Phishing or Spam
- When to Use: Use this service to report suspicious emails asking for personal info, containing strange links or attachments, or attempting to impersonate Salve staff or services.
- Next Steps:
- Report the suspect message using the Microsoft Report Message feature as this will help improve our email filtering:
- In Outlook Desktop/Web: Open the message, then select Report > Phishing or Spam from the toolbar.
- If you have additional questions, have interacted with a suspect message, or have sent information to a suspect link, submit a report.
- After submitting your report, the security team will review the message and take appropriate action. You may be contacted if additional details are needed.
