  • When to Use: When you need access to specialized software for academic work, research, or specific course requirements in a classroom or lab setting.
  • Next Steps:
    • Review the list of available academic software:
      • SPSS: Statistics software for data analysis.
      • ArcGIS: Geographic Information System software for spatial analysis and mapping.
      • Splashtop: Remote access tool for connecting to campus computers from offsite locations.
      • Respondus (Lockdown Browser): Secure browser for online testing.
      • TurnItIn: Plagiarism detection software for assignments and papers.
      • Cellebrite: Digital forensics software (by special request).
      • Other discipline-specific software approved by your department.
    • Deadlines for Classroom and Lab Software Requests:
      • Fall Semester: June 1
      • Spring Semester: December 20
      • Summer Sessions: May 15
    • Requests submitted after these deadlines may not be honored. 
    • Submit a request through the IT Support System for assistance with access, installation, or additional software not listed here.
