Playing Music via Bluetooth in Ochre Court and Pell

📌 Purpose

Ochre Court and The Pell Center are now equipped with bluetooth capabilities in each room in order to easily play music at events. the rooms can be used in a stand alone capacity or linked together.

🛠️ Instructions

1. Press anywhere on the Crestron panel splash page. The directions are the same in each room. Here is the Great Hall as an example.

2. Enter the code 1947 and press “submit passcode”.

3. Go over to the bluetooth panel to the left of the fireplace.

4. After pressing the bluetooth “pair” button you will see the indicator light start blinking.

5. On the ipad or other device you are using, open the settings icon and search for “Bluetooth”.

6. After a few seconds you will see “GreatHall-Bluetooth” as an option. Select that.

7. After a few more seconds it will say connected.  

8. Play music from an application on your device. The room system mutes upon bluetooth connection, meaning you have to go back over to the Crestron panel and turn up the microphone volume in the lower right-hand corner. Adjust the sound as needed.  

9. To link the music to multiple rooms in the building, press the "linking" button in the top left of the touch panel. On the next page, press the box near whichever rooms you want to send the music to. In each room you will have to unmute from the touch panel and adjust the volume as needed.
