🛠️ Instructions

For best results, please connect to the network and register your device in your dorm room.

  1. Select SRU-ResNet-Students from the list of available networks to connect to.
  2. Enter SalveRegina as the network password exactly as shown—it's case sensitive.
  3. At the login page, enter your Salve username (firstname.lastname) and your password. (omit “@salve.edu”).
  4. If the login page disappears or you see a “Connected to the Internet” message, registration is complete and you have full network access.

đź’ˇ Troubleshooting & Tips

  • Temporarily disable any VPN services you may be using - these services can prevent you from reaching the authentication page and logging in with your Salve username and password to fully connect to the network.
  • The "SalveRegina" network key/password when first connecting is case sensitive. This must be
entered correctly for full access and for the login page to appear.
  • Make sure your Salve username and password is correct - do not use the @salve.edu part of your username when logging into wi-fi.
  • Disable custom or static network settings - make sure the network settings on your
device are set for DHCP (sometimes labeled automatic), and there no statically assigned IP addresses or DNS servers.
  • Some devices (such as iOS/iPad OS) enable a feature called "Private Address" or "MAC Address Randomization".  These privacy related features can sometimes cause issues with connecting to a managed Wi-Fi network such as SRU-ResNet-Students.  These types of features can (and should) be disabled if you encounter issues.
  • Try giving your device a restart and performing the connection/registration process again after the restart completes.
