🛠️ Instructions

  1. To begin, select an input on the left side of the Crestron touch panel. Then select the sources at the bottom, "projector" and "smart" board to redirect the input.
  2. Selecting "PC" and then "projector" wakes up the computer monitor, in addition to displaying the image from the projector. If you want to use just the computer monitor and the smart board, select "video mute" to mute the projector.
  3. The "table laptop" connection works via the HDMI cable coming out of the middle of the table. The "wall laptop" connection works with the HDMI cable coming out of the wall near the Crestron panel.
  4. We recommend shutting the system down when finished with the room, via the power button in the lower left-hand corner of the Crestron touch panel.

🛠️ Using the Camera and Microphone for Zoom

From the room PC.

     1. Once you are logged into the computer, double click the Zoom icon on the desktop. You can also log into Canvas and                 access Zoom through there, if preferred.

     2. Click "Sign in" and then "Sign in with SSO". Make sure the SSO is "salve-edu.zoom.us". Click "continue".

     3. It may have you log in with your Salve Microsoft credentials and ask for two factor authentication.

     4. Once the Zoom home page opens, click on your scheduled meeting, or click "new meeting".

     5. Once the meeting opens, check your audio/video settings if you are unsure they are functioning properly. You can do this by          clicking on the arrows to the right of the "audio" and "video" icons in the lower left, and then clicking "settings".

Camera should be set to "Quick-Connect USB".

Speaker should be set to "Crestron (Intel(R) Display Audio)."

Microphone should be set to "Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Devio CR-1 USB Audio)"

💡 Troubleshooting & Tips

  • If the computer image still does not come on after selecting the "PC" input and "projector" source, check to make sure the PC is on in the cabinet near the door.
