🛠️ Teacher Station Operation

To begin, press anywhere on the touch panel splash page.

Press which source you would like to display on the projector. Once a selection is made, it takes about 30 seconds for the projector to fully display.

"Room Computer" refers to the computer inside the lectern cabinet. Make sure the labelled power button is on.

Plug your laptop into the provided HDMI cable to use the "laptop" selection.

The "Laptop 2" option is not needed for daily use. To use this option with the input on the side of the lectern, contact the Technology Services Center via the contact information at the bottom of this article to set up an appointment.

Air Media works with your laptop in two ways. Plug the Air Media adapter into a USB-C port on your device. Select "Air Media" on the touch panel and your device will display after a few seconds.

You can also type the IP address in the lower left of the Air Media home screen into the address bar of a browser, and access Air Media connectivity without the adapter. Follow the prompts once the IP brings you to the home page.

The "clear" button will remove all sources from the projection.

The "mics" icon in the upper right of the touch panel brings you to more in-depth controls of the microphones in the room. The "Speech Volume" control at the bottom is the main knob that controls all of the mic volume at once.

"Lectern Mic" refers to the mic on the podium itself. The wireless handheld and lavalier microphones are kept in the booth in the back of the room. Contact the Technology Services Center to access these mics. The contact information is at the bottom of this article.

To use the camera installed in the room for remote/hybrid classes and meetings, select the "camera" icon in the upper right of the touch panel.

If using the room computer for your meeting, make sure the "USB to PC" button is selected.

To use the camera/microphones for your meeting from your own laptop, plug the provided USB cable into your laptop and make sure "USB to Laptop" is selected.

Use the directional arrows and +/- magnifying glasses to rearrange the angle of the camera. Presets 1, 2, and 3 offer close up, medium, and wide angles.

The speech volume area is for increasing the volume of the microphones in the room. To adjust your sound for a remote meeting, do so in the meeting software settings.

The program volume controls the audio signal coming from the selected room computer or laptop.

The "settings" icon in the upper right of the touch panel brings you to room controls for the projector, screen, shades, and lights. There are a number of lighting presets to choose from depending on what type of presentation style is being used for the event.

The "power" icon in the upper right of the touch panel leads you to the system shut down page.

Please shut the system down when you are done using the room!
