To provide graduating students with information regarding changes to their Salve Regina University Microsoft 365 account, including continued e-mail access, account limitations, and available services after graduation.
All students that graduate will continue to have access to their @salve.edu e-mail address provided through Microsoft 365. If you have additional questions not covered below, please contact the Technology Services Center at (401) 341-7777 or support@salve.edu.
🎓 Microsoft 365 Alumni E-Mail Account
What happens when I graduate from Salve Regina University?
- Your account will be re-licensed as an alumni account after your graduation date with e-mail access only.
- Your username and e-mail address will remain the same.
- You will lose access to Microsoft's desktop Office suite, online applications, and mobile applications downloaded using your Salve/Microsoft 365 account from office.com.
- To keep your e-mail address active, you must use your account at least once every twelve months.
- Alumni e-mail accounts will continue to receive the enhanced security benefits of multi-factor authentication (MFA) and access to the self-service password reset tool.
🔐 Access to Other Services
Will I be able to continue logging in to other services and applications with my Salve/Microsoft 365 account after transitioning to alumni e-mail?
After transitioning to a Salve Microsoft 365 Alumni e-mail account, you will no longer be able to log in to other services or sites using your Salve/Microsoft 365 account.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Campus@Salve Portal
- MySalve
- Canvas
- Pyramed Student Health Portal
- Cisco WebEx
- Zoom
- Adobe Creative Cloud

- Continue using your alumni e-mail account regularly to maintain access.
- Keep your account recovery information and MFA settings up to date.
