The Technology Services Center provides documentation and support for a suite of software and tools that can be used by faculty, staff, and students. The table below is not a complete list but focuses on the most widely used and available software within our community.

This table is subject to change as software offerings and licensing evolve.

Microsoft Copilot 365 (Free) Available when logged into your Salve account (Copilot Chat) Who has access: All Salve Microsoft 365 users
Features: Document summarization, email drafting, conversational AI. Tasks may require manual upload/copy-paste. Interaction is through Copilot Chat only (no app integration).
Microsoft Copilot 365 Pro Integrated within Outlook, Word, Teams (in-app features) Who has access: Users with a Copilot 365 Pro license (may require purchase/approval)
Features: In-app drafting/summarizing, Teams meeting notes & action items, Outlook replies & summaries, Word rewriting/formatting/summarizing. Conversational AI can reference OneDrive content you can access.
Zoom AI Companion Included with institutional Zoom Who has access: All Salve Zoom users
Features: Meeting summaries and a real-time Q&A bot during meetings.

Staying in compliance with the University Data Storage and Classification Policy, do not enter, upload, or share confidential, regulated, or sensitive University information with AI tools. When in doubt, submit a ticket or contact us.

** Assistance provided for connecting to the campus network on personal macOS or ChromeOS devices

  • Contact the TSC before purchasing new software or AI tools to confirm compatibility and licensing requirements.
  • Unsupported software may not receive troubleshooting or security updates.
