The article provides faculty with an overview of the new enhanced rubrics. This will include instructions on editing, adding, deleting, importing (into new courses), downloading, and printing rubrics.

  1. Open the RUBRICS page from the main navigational menu. 
  2. IMPORT RUBRIC from a file on your computer. YES! This link provides an Excel template you can use to make your rubrics.
  3. CREATE NEW RUBRIC  
  4. The "three dots" button allows you to edit, duplicate, etc. a rubric
  5. SELECT EDIT the rubric.
  6. DOWNLOAD SELECTED RUBRICS allows you download the rubrics in CSV format which is a format that can be used in MS Excel.




Itemization by function.

  1. Rename the rubric.
  2. Change the rubric type to Scale or Written Feedback.
  3. Change the rating display to Level or Points.
  4. Change the rating order.
  5. Set the rubric as Scored or Un-scored.
  6. Rearrange criterion ratings.
  7. Edit a rubric criterion description or long description.
  8. Delete a criterion or aligned outcome from the rubric.
  9. Duplicate a criterion from the rubric.
  10. Add a new criterion.
  11. Align an outcome.

  1. To rename a criterion, enter a new name in the Criterion Name field [1].
  2. To edit a rubric criterion description or long description, enter updated details in the Criterion Description field [2].
  3. You can also edit points [3],
  4. rating name [4],
  5. and rating description [5].
  6. To delete a criterion from the rubric, click the criterion Delete icon [6].
  7. To save your edits, click the Save Criterion button [7]
