Canvas Studio

After recording your project, there are some settings that need to selected for captioning to appear. 
It is not automatic, but you are able to edit the text if words are misinterpreted. 


 

Processing

After recording your video, the audio needs some time to process the audio and generate text.
Select the CAPTIONS tab to access the editing and publishing functions.
 

 

Managing

When the audio is done PROCESSING, the default language (English) will be labeled as NOT PUBLISHED.

 

Review

Select the THREE DOTS and select REVIEW AND PUBLISH.
 

 

Editing & Publishing

The user has the ability to edit the text and display times. When the captions are displaying the proper words at the proper time, SELECT the PUBLISH button at the top of the page. The captions are then ready to go.

 

Close Caption 

As in other video applications like, YouTube or Zoom, there is a CC button that the user will need to select in order to view the captions.
